Instead, they will be available for single-player and multiplayer that aren't Ladder-based.
"We understand these items complement notable playstyles and designs that are appreciated by players," community manager Hooley adds. "Furthermore, we have heard members of the community request inclusion of these items in the single-player experience for a while. Single players will now be able to take part in the metas that have been well-known from the first multi-player Ladder experience. In addition, single-player players now also have access to the Pandemonium Event and Uber Diablo content."
The community manager goes on to explain that Ladder ranking and listings will be available within a short time after launch to "mitigate server impact and protect server stability of the game during the launch period". The slight delay should let more players participate in the race of the first season's Ladder while also ensuring that everything runs more smoothly.
We're not aware of when Diablo 2's Ladder begins and Hooley promises that the team will inform you of "the precise date, time and location in the month of September" when they've got cheap Diablo 4 Gold an exact gauge of that.
