While Diablo 4 Gold Season of Blood focused on adding several quality-of-life features, such as a dedicated gem material tab or better stash functionality, there is still much that Diablo 4 fans feel is missing from the game. On paper, Season 4 was supposed to be a major step in the right direction, but the glitches have marred an otherwise hopeful launch.

Diablo 4 players reported having issues with their Seasonal Progress not being saved, being unable to claim their Premium Battle Pass rewards, or even noticing that many cosmetic items still used placeholder icons. On top of the in-game problems, the Diablo 4 community also reported slow download speeds and new error codes following the update. These technical issues have seemingly contributed to Blizzard temporarily shutting down Diablo 4's crossplay functionality until the bugs are properly addressed.

Despite the disastrous launch, Season of Blood holds plenty of promise for the long-term future of Diablo 4. The latest update is not only bringing new bosses to the game, but it is also providing players a means of farming for Uber Uniques in Diablo 4 by taking on Uber Duriel, a challenge somewhat comparable to Uber Lilith in terms of difficulty. Though fans have applauded Blizzard for attempting to provide different ways of approaching the endgame in Diablo 4 past Nightmare Dungeons, it may take more than just adding a few bosses to bring back the numbers Diablo 4 had on release.

To that end, Diablo fans should keep an eye out for any Diablo 4 news at BlizzCon 2023, as Blizzard will most likely tease the first expansion pack for the game during the opening presentation. Given the way its predecessor was redeemed by Reaper of Souls, Diablo 4 may end up following a similar trajectory, where its expansion pack taps into the game's potential, and turns it into a Diablo installment worthy of the franchise.

Blizzard has delayed the start of Diablo 4 Season 4, called Season of Blood, leaving fans uncertain about when it will begin. Diablo 4 Season 4 received backlash from the community, leading Blizzard to make changes and reverting unpopular updates. Diablo 4 Season 4 was scheduled to start at 10 am PT but has been delayed due to complications, causing frustration among fans.

Blizzard has officially delayed the start time for Diablo 4 Season 4, Season of Blood, and so now it's unclear when the new season will actually start. Diablo 4 had a successful launch, breaking sales records for Blizzard and earning a great deal of critical acclaim in the process. Unfortunately, Diablo 4 was unable to keep that momentum going. Diablo 4 Season 4 was panned by the community, with many fans revolting against the changes Blizzard made to the game.

Diablo 4 Season 4 was met with severe backlash, forcing Blizzard to go back to the drawing board. It reverted many of the unpopular changes that it made with the initial Season 4 update, but even that was not enough to convince disgruntled players to return to Diablo 4. Blizzard has since turned its attention to
buy Diablo IV Items Season 4 as its next attempt to bring fans back to the action-RPG, though its launch has had some problems of its own.
