Ah Jake and Amy - one of my favorite TV couples of all time! The two married in the season 5 finale on what should be "nups toitest" of all time. As expected, the two spent a good chunk of money on traditional marriage. Morning, someone calls in a bomb threat to the spot. Jake and Amy are scrambling to try and find out if they know someone who might do this, and if this is even a real threat.

In the two-episode season 5 finale of Modern Family, Mitch and Cam finally say "I do" after a long season leading up to the big day. When it finally arrived, Mitch had a quarrel with his father, Jay (who reveals his true feelings about gay marriage), the ceremony will be pushed to 5 hours due to forest fires - which would interfere with their marriage apart, officiant them (friends) goes into labor, they scramble to find and get their guests to a new place and finally try to get married at some point. When they finally end up back at their house with all their guests, all crammed together and Mitch and Cam decide to call Quits on the day because it will not correct.

Jay and Mitch make amends wholeheartedly, Phil took over as the officiant, and they are finally husband!
Cece and Schmidt
Confession time - I fancied Schmidt! But, it did not matter because he was married to Cece;). their wedding day is definitely one of my favorite episodes of this show. their wonderful day perfectly executed with only one small problem - the groom is not present! On the morning of their wedding, Schmidt hopes to take a short flight from LAX to PDX Cece convinced her to come to the wedding (backstory: he did not approve the marriage because he wanted to Cece to marry someone within their culture). He hoped he would be able to accomplish this mission without Cece find out, but it all goes in vain when his plane got stuck on the runway for the rest of the day - did not even take off! Apparently, this Cece mother did appear for a wedding after all and Schmidt did not even need to go to Portland.
Nevertheless, Schmidt stuck in the plane on the wedding day and not being able to get off. After vowing to delay until Schmidt to marriage, Schmidt insisted they go through with the wedding "party" (as everything is setup and paid), and they are legally be married at city hall when he returned. This episode was actually pretty funny as Schmidt attended the wedding itself via FaceTime. Schmidt finally made it back to the Loft in the middle of the night, where he found his roommate and close relatives waited so couples can get married officially. Very sweet!
