Like many others video gaming studios Blizzard Tainment has been sending its team members home to work remotely during the COVID-19 outbreak including members of the World of Warcraft team. In a new interview on P2Pah Game director Ion Hazzikostas spoke about some issues that arise when being involved in the ongoing support of WoW as well as the WoW WoTLK Classic expansion while working from home in a setup.

"It's been a challenging few months for our team in adjusting to these conditions," Hazzikostas said. "It's extremely uplifting to work on something that is connecting people during these challenging times. Hazzikostas stated that it's difficult to quantify, however anecdotally, he's been pleased by the positive vibes and a greater sense of belonging in WoW gamers during the lockdowns.

Concerning the specifics of shifting from office to remote, Hazzikostas said it's unquestionably been an "challenging change" that the entire team has had to go through with WOW WoTLK Classic Gold. He also mentioned that Blizzard was keeping track of the COVID-19 issue early and this helped the team's transition to remote work to go easily.
