The time leading up to the draft can be stressful if you're a fan of a bad team, because everyone is hoping their team doesn't make a mistake. If your team has made it to the playoffs, congrats -- you're hoping a bad team isn't able to make it happen and Madden 23 coins sees a talented player fall.

We've already seen several mock drafts from ESPN's Mel Kiper and Todd McShay on Tuesday, but this was their first mock in a group of the year, with both draft experts changing picks all the way down to the third draft. Today we'll take a look at the most important things that leapt out at me in seeing this mock.

I love Georgia defensive end Travon Walker, but even then I'm convinced that we've had a sloppy season with him. Walker was a late-mid first round selection prior to the combine, and then he wowed everyone with athletic potential and now his value is off the charts.

Kiper is Walker taking No. 2 overall to the Lions and he's arguing that they'll continue to play pass rush, regardless of Aidan Hutchinson being off the board (he's taken No. 1). At some level, I understand the idea. Walker has ideal size to be a 4-3-2 end, with athleticism normally reserved for an edge rusher of 3-4. What I'm trying resolve is the idea of taking this huge of a gamble with the top five selection of one who scored 9.5 bags in his college ... total.

Do not get me wrong, raw stats aren't the be alland end all for college pass rushers. Here's my biggest concern: In the top 10 leaders in sacks during the Madden NFL 23 last year only one player didn't possess at least 10.0 sacks per game in the college. This was Micah Parsons. It's quite scary to think of a player that high with no proof of success.

Cross is the most effective pass blocking offensive tackle in this draft, and that's a fact. Therefore, to see him fall to the No. 13 spot just seems unbelievable to me. I get how this happened with they way their mock was forming yet I'm unable to believe it.

It wasn't too long ago that I had Cross marked in the Panthers on No. 6. I was skeptical that there was a chance he wasn't available. There are some upside issues with Cross that have led some (including myself) to put Evan Neal above him as the second-best offensive tackle of the draft. I'd still be shocked to discover the Falcons and Seahawks passing on him.

If the Texans succeed in coming away with Kayvon Thibodeaux and Charles Cross as this mock has planned, would it be party time in Houston.

Everyone , including their brother, has Sauce Gardner as the top cornerback this year, and I am sure of it. It is obvious that the 2nd best CB will be Derek Stingley Jr, and I also get it. Following that, the mock that Kiper/McShay has does not work for me.

Daxton Hill at No. 18. Andrew Booth Jr. at No. 25. so we'll need to wait until the pick 48 is made for Kaiir Elam? Is this a joke?

Elam is better than each of Hill as well as Booth Jr. to me I think he's falling. Mel generally confirms that he picked Hill earlier due to the fact that he personally really likes him madden 23 mut coins, which, no offense, scares me a lot.
