Before you begin laying down carpet tiles, there are a few essential tools that you will require in order to finish the job successfully. A metal ruler, a tape measure, a utility knife with a fixed blade, and some double-sided tape are included. When dealing with larger spaces, our recommendation is to use Mosque Carpet tackifier adhesive. Before you begin installing the carpet tiles, make sure that you have allowed them to acclimate for at least 24 hours. To accomplish this, simply remove the tiles from their boxes and stack them in various piles around the room so that air can flow between the spaces. When carrying this out, you must take special care not to damage any of the corners. This process is of utmost significance during the colder months of the year. After being stored in our warehouse or left overnight at a transport depot, the tiles may arrive at their destination in a cold state. When tiles are installed directly into a space that is heated by a central heating system, expansion may cause the tiles to peak if they are not given enough time to bring their temperature up to that of the room. Carpet tiles are simple enough to install by yourself, and you can even create a one-of-a-kind design for your floor by incorporating patterned borders of contrasting colors, inlaying shapes and letters, or making patterns.
2. Each tile's reverse side features arrows pointing in the appropriate direction for the pile. You can achieve shading effects that are either monolithic or quarter turn by laying the arrows out in a variety of different ways. To find the exact location of the room's center, measure both the width and the length of the floor. Where the lines intersect, make a mark with a chalk line or a pencil. Next, count the number of complete tiles in both directions, and make sure there is at least half a tile remaining so that you can cut around the edge. We have discovered that dry laying a row in both directions is helpful in finishing this task. If necessary, readjust the centre point, and then remark the position. Because you could be left with a small cut on the opposite side if you begin by installing a whole tile on one wall, we do not recommend that you do this.

4. Beginning at the marks you made for the room's center line, work your way outward from the middle of the space using whole tiles to construct the floor. It is important to make sure that each one is butted up tight to the other without trapping pile between the joints. To prevent the tiles from shifting while being fitted, you should consider using double-sided tape in the event that you loose lay them. After you have laid all of the whole tiles, you should then proceed to make the cuts around the perimeter. Use a profile gauge, a cardboard template (if cutting around a pedestal basin in a bathroom), or simply measure and mark on the back of the tile. All of these options are available. Keep in mind that you should always cut from the back of the tile, and watch out for your fingers!
5. To cut the tiles, simply score the back of each one twice or three times with a sharp knife, and then snap them like you would plasterboard. After that, move the knife along the cut line so that you end up with a clean edge on the pile. White spirit and a clean cloth can be used to clean blades that have become clogged. As soon as all of the cuts have been finished, vacuum the floor to remove any debris that may have been left behind from fitting. If you want to lay the tiles more loosely, our recommendation is that no more than 100 tiles should be fitted into each room. Make sure that you use double-sided carpet tape whenever you are fixing the middle rows and the edge of the perimeter. Because an improperly fitted floor can move, it is important to check the tiles' tightness and alignment at regular intervals while installing them.
