Squad Building Challenges is a FIFA 23 Ultimate Team game mode that lets you build unique Squads using your Player Items based on different Challenge requirements, which you can then submit to earn rewards, such as a better player card, a special kit, packs, or other goods. While you'll always need to spend FUT 23 Coins or cards to finish them, there are a few simple tips that can keep the damage to your pocketbook to a minimum. So this guide will give you a few tips for completing Squad Building Challenges (SBC) as cheaply as possible.

Don't Rush To Complete New SBCs

When a good and new SBC drops, millions of players rush to the Transfer Market to buy players and complete it. This drives up prices quickly, making it the worst time to finish the SBC. If you wait a day or two, you can often get a discount of several thousand coins. Patiently waiting.

Buy Players On Rewards Days

If you're already waiting, you might as well wait for a time when more players are opening packs. That happens on Rewards Days or when a new promo kicks off. That means you generally want to complete SBCs on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays when possible. Make sure you learn what time promos and rewards drop in your region, and then plan to pick your players around to bring that price down.

Use the Bronze Pack Method

BPM involves opening many bronze packs, keeping all the players, selling any managers or kits with value, and discarding the rest. Any players from major leagues can then be used to help complete the SBCs mentioned, while the bulk of the worthless bronze players can be put into the basic Bronze Upgrade SBC, which kicks out two silver cards for each bronze squad submitted. Some of those silvers are useful for SBCs, while others can be funneled into the next upgrade SBC up the roster, giving you more Coins FIFA 23. These then go into the main upgrade SBCs. It's the circle of life, FIFA style!

Use Untradeables When Possible

Untradeable players have always been that eyesore no one knows what to do with it. Even though they are untradeable, they are not unusable. The most logical solution is to use them in your squad. If you press options, you can filter players by price (high to low), untradeable only, and most recent acquire. Make sure to select untradeable players and use as many as possible. Remember that you won't be able to finish every SBC with only untradeable players, and you will have to buy a few lack players.
