Bedrooms vary depending on layout, stair location, bathrooms, kitchen and local building code. One large bedroom can be comfortably designed on a 25×25 square-foot plot together with a living room, kitchen and bathroom. Two small bedrooms can be considered as well, provided an efficient space planning is achieved, but of course the rooms will be smaller. For a couple and children, or frequent visitors, the 25x25 house plan is a great option to consider. Wardrobes that swing open and shut can reclaim important space, as well. The living room and dining room can be a single space as well. Consider adding another floor instead of more beds to the basement if more bedrooms are needed. Care should also be taken in the positioning of windows and ventilation in bedrooms to maintain a comfortable environment. Always go by your lifestyle and the building regulations when deciding on the final number of bedrooms.
