Exploring Microsoft Fabric Technologies Covered in the Microsft DP-600 Certification » S4 Network

I have been exploring Microsoft Fabric recently and found that the DP-600 certification covers several important technologies related to data analytics. The exam has four main areas: Planning and Managing Analytics Solutions (10–15%), Preparing and Serving Data (40–45%), Implementing and Managing Semantic Models (20–25%), and Exploring and Analyzing Data (20–25%).

Some important technologies include Lakehouses and Data Warehouses for storing data, Data Pipelines and Dataflows for moving and transforming it, and Notebooks for working with data using code. The exam also covers SQL and PySpark for querying and transforming data. Another important area is Semantic Models, where you need to understand DAX, relationships, Direct Lake, and Row-Level Security. These concepts help organize data and create secure and useful reports.

I think preparing for each technology separately is a better approach than trying to learn everything at once. You can explore the Microsoft DP-600 certification study resources under the Microsoft exam category, where you can find topic-wise practice material for DP-600 along with other Microsoft certifications. Practicing questions related to individual topics can help you understand the concepts and identify areas that need more attention.

Is anyone else preparing for DP-600? Which Microsoft Fabric technology do you find the most difficult to understand?
